Kotoko lose four consecutive games after defeat to Nations FC

Nafiu Sulemana and Mohammed Charwatey scored two first-half goals to hand Nations Football Club a 2-0 victory against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the Matchday 11 fixture of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum’s side has now lost four consecutive Ghana Premier League games since his arrival as Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Head Coach. His team lost to Legon Cities, Hearts of Lions, Bechem United and Nations FC.

Nations Football Club after today’s win at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium have now moved to the summit of the Ghana Premier League with 22 points from 11 games.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko failed to record a shot on goal in today’s defeat to Nations FC while the away team attempted 3 shots on goal and scored twice from it. Kotoko will travel to face Aduana Football Club in a must-win encounter in their next Ghana League fixture.

Meanwhile, league leaders Nations Football Club will lock horns with Berekum Chelsea in the Matchday 12 encounter at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
