Athletic Bilbao attacker Inaki Williams will be unavailable when the Black Stars of Ghana take on Angola and Niger in the AFCON 2025 Qualifiers.
According to the club, the 30-year-old Ghanaian suffered an injury in the Athletic Bilbaos La Liga game against Real Sociedad on Sunday. Inaki Williams will undergo further tests on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.
Inaki Willaims has been named in Coach Otoo Addo’s 25-man squad for the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers. The Ghanaian has scored 3 goals and made 4 assists for Athletic Bilbao in 12 appearances in La Liga this season and will not feature in their next game against Real Valladolid on Sunday.
The Black Stars of Ghana currently third in the AFCON Qualifiers Group will take on Angola on November 15th at the Estadio 11 Nobembre before travelling to Accra to play Niger at home on November 18th.
