Tamale Senior High School, located in the northern region of Ghana, emerged victorious in the first quarter-final of the 2024 National Science and Math Quiz (NSMQ) competition.
TAMASCO, nicknamed the Lions, beat St. Johns Grammar Senior High School and Accra Academy Senior High School in the quarter-final contest 1 competition held at the SGS Auditorium at the University of Cape Coast.
At the end of the competition, TAMASCO emerged victorious with a score of 40 points after answering the last riddle correctly. St. johns school followed closely with a score of 38 points while Accra academy came in third position with a score of 32 points.
Tamale Senior High School has advanced to the semi-finals of the 2024 National Science and Maths Quiz competition, and after several attempts, they hope to win it for the first time in history.
