Ghanaian and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey put up an impressive performance as his team recorded a victory in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk at the Emirates Sports Stadium.
The Gunners recorded their second win out of three games played in the UEFA Champions League this season after a hard-fought 1-0 win against the Ukrainian club at home. Dimtro Riznyk scored an own goal in the 29th minute of the game to hand Arsenal a 1-0 lead which eventually ended the game.
Thomas Partey played 90 minutes for his team and recorded 91 touches and 89% accurate passes (65/73) at the end of the game. The Ghanaian also made 13 passes into the final third and won 62% of ground duels.
The Arsenal midfielder was rated as one of the best players on the field of play today. He also won 50% of tackles for his team(2/4), leading them to secure all three points at home. The Gunners are currently in fourth place on the UEFA Champions League table with 7 points after 3 matches played.
