NSMQ 2024: PERSCO and MAWULI secure Quarter final slot

Mawuli School and St. Peter’s boys’ senior high school have both advanced to the quarterfinal stages of the ongoing 2024 National Science and Math Quiz (NSMQ) in Cape Coast.

Mawuli School located in the Volta region of Ghana competed against rivals from the Volta region Sogakofe Senior High and Eastern region’s Suhum Presby Senior High School in the eighth stage.

Mawuli school against all odds won by a 13-point margin at the end of the contest as they accumulated 43 points against Sogaco’s 30 points and Suhum Presec’s 25 points.

Elsewhere at the CNC auditorium two former eastern regional champions faced off in a mouth-watering battle. Krobo girls SHS were up against rivals St. Peters school and Kumasi-based Anglican SHS.

St. Peters school showed supremacy as they triumphed at the end of the contest securing their spot in the quarter-final stage. The all-boys school won narrowly after recording 35 points as Anglican SHS and Krobo girls each recorded 28 points and 26 points respectively.
