The Black Sharks of Ghana have been eliminated from the 2024 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations after two games played.
Ghana was in group A before the start of the tournament alongside host Egypt, Morocco, and Tanzania. The Black Sharks have played two games in the tournament so far and have failed to register a win.
In Ghana’s opening game, the team faced host Egypt and recorded a 6-3 defeat to the Egyptian beach soccer football team. The black sharks again weren’t spared in their second group stage game as they succumbed to a 5-2 loss to the Moroccan beach soccer football team.
The black sharks will face Tanzania in their last group-stage game as they have a chance to record their first victory of the tournament. Ghana as things stand will be eliminated from the competition as the black sharks currently lie bottom of group A with 0 points and 11 goals conceded so far with only 5 goals scored.
