Andre Ayew plays first game of the season for Le Havre

Former black stars captain Andre Morgan Dede Ayew was in action for his club for the first time in the 2024/2025 season after signing a new contract with the French Ligue 1 side on October 24, 2024.

The Black Stars player replaced French footballer Timothe Pembele in the 66th minute of the game. His side Le Havre suffered a 4-0 loss to opponents Lyon in this afternoon’s encounter at the Stade Oceane.

Andre Ayew played 24 minutes for his club in today’s encounter, recording 1 shot and making 10 touches throughout his stay on the field. The 34-year-old will be hoping to add more experience to the Le Havre team that survived relegation last season.

His team is currently in the relegation zone (16th position) of the French Ligue 1 table with just 6 points after 8 games played this season.
