The Sudanese Football Team led by Ghanaian Coach Kwesi Appiah beat the Black Stars of Ghana 2-0 in the Matchday 4 fixture of the 2025 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

After a goalless draw against Sudan in the first lef encounter, the Black Stars were hoping to grab all three points in the reverse fixture to keep the 2025 African Cup of Nations hopes alive.

Ahmed Al-Tash scored the first goal for the home team in the 62nd after a defensive blunder from the Black Stars Team. In the 65th minute, Mohammed Abdel added the second goal for the Sudanese National team to secure all three points for Kwesi Appiah’s side.

The Black Stars of Ghana have just two points from 4 games played in Group F making the 2025 AFCON Qualification impossible. The Sudanese team will go second in the table with 7 points after 4 games played.

Ghana will be hoping results from other games go in their favor with two matches remaining to end the Qualifiers.
