Ghanaian player Ernest Nuamah played an instrumental role for his club Lyon as they beat Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa League Round 1 fixture at the Parc Olympic Lyonnais Stadium in France.
The 20-year-old was in action for 82 minutes before being replaced by French international Mohammed Diawara. Ernest Nuamah recorded 42 touches in the game before being substituted.
The Olympic Lyon winger had 24 out of 26 accurate passes as his side recorded a 2-0 victory in their first Europa League game of the season. Rayan Cherki scored the first goal for the home team in the 65th minute before Algerian international Said Benrahma added the second in the 71st minute to hand Lyon Victory over Olympiacos.
