Ghanaian football Coach Yusif Basigi has departed the shores of the country and left his role as head Coach of Hasaccas Ladies after 21 years in charge of the team.
Yusif Basigi was in charge of the Sekondi Hasaccas Men’s football team from 2013 to 2016 before taking over Hasacass Ladies where he led the team to their inaugural Ghana Women’s Premier League title after just a season with the club.
During his time with Hasaacas Ladies, Yusif Basigi won the Ghana Women’s Premier League with the team four times (2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2020-2021 seasons). He also won the Women’s FA Cup with Hasaacas Ladies in 2021 and became the WAFU Zone B champion in the same year with the Ghanaian club.
Basigi also achieved several honors with the Ghana U20 Women’s National team which includes a Gold Medal achievement at the 2023 African Games in Ghana. The 52-year-old Ghanaian Coach has signed a one-year contract with Simba Queens Football club based in Dar Es Salaam.
