After Party executives and supporters of the National Democratic Congress hit the streets in all 16 regions in the country to demonstrate against the Electoral Commission of Ghana demanding that the Electoral body should audit the voter’s register ahead of the upcoming 2024 Elections, executive of the opposing NPP has also reacted.

The General Secretary of the Ruling New Patriotic Party Mr. Justin Kodua has also reacted stating that if the Electoral Commission should heed the protest of the NDC, then the NPP will also embark on a demonstration against the EC.

The opposing National Democratic Congress explained that the current voters register should be audited because it cannot guarantee a free and fair election stating that it found over 243000 unauthorized names in the list.

Mr. Justin Kodua the General Secretary of the NPP has also debunked claims by the NDC saying that the demonstration is needless and hence a deliberate attempt by the opposition to create tension ahead of the upcoming elections.
