Hearts of Oak to use UG Stadium for remaining Ghana Premier League games

Accra Hearts of Oak will now use the Newly built University of Ghana Sports Stadium for its upcoming home matches after the shutdown of the Accra Sports Stadium and the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Weeks ago, the National Sports Authority announced the closure of the Baba Yara and Accra Stadiums for renovation works to take place after CAF rejected the facility to host the Black Stars Games.

The phobias together with other clubs like Dreams Fc, Accra Lions, and Legon Cities will now adopt the University of Ghana Sports Stadium for their remaining Ghana League games. Kumasi Asante Kotoko on the other hand will also play its home games at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium after the Baba Yara Stadium Closure.

Hearts of Oak has failed to pick up a point this season after two games played. The team will face Bechem United in their next Ghana Premier League at home on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
