Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress ahead of the 2024 General Elections John Dramani Mahama has called on Ghanaians to join the NDC nationwide Demonstration against the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
John Dramani Mahama as part of his Nationwide Tour in the Greater Accra Accra Region used the opportunity to urge Ghanaians to rally their support behind the NDC on Tuesday, September 17 as they embark on this demonstration.
During his speech, John Dramani Mahama stated that
“the only way to get the Electoral Commission to sit up is to put pressure on them. That is why on Tuesday, you must all join the demonstration across the country. It’s not just about the NDC but about the country.”
The NDC is expected to March on the principal streets of Accra to the office of the Electoral Commission where they will present a petition to the EC on tempered voters register.
The Demonstration is expected to take place in all electoral commission offices in the 16 regions of Ghana as communicated by Chairman Mr. Aseidu Nketiah.
