Antoine Semenyo wins Bournmouth’s August Player of the Month

Ghanaian player Antoine Semenyo has been named AFC Bournemouth Player of the Month for August after an impressive performance with the team.

The 24-year-old forward has scored or recorded an assist in all three Premier League matches for Bournemouth so far in the 2024/25 Season.

The Ghanaian scored his first goal of the 2024/25 English Premier League Season after a stunning strike against Nottingham Forest. He went ahead to record an assist in Bournmouth’s 1-1 draw against Newcastle before scoring his second goal of the season in their 3-2 win against Everton.

Semenyo who joined Bournemouth in the 2022/23 Season from Bristol City has a quite good time with the Cherries. In the 2023/24 Season, he was involved in 10 goals for his team scoring Eight times and making Two assists after 33 games played.

The Ghanaian is expected to continue his fine form when his club faces Chelsea in game Week 4 of the English Premier League at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, September 14.
