The Black Stars of Ghana failed to grab a win against Niger in the second group game of the 2025 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers on Monday at the Stade Municipal De Berkane in Morocco.
Kudus Mohammed made an Assist to Stade Rennais defender Alidu Seidu to score the first goal for the Ghana National Team in the 44th minute. Alidu Seidu’s goal today against Niger means the Ghanaian has cores his first goal since his professional football career began.
With just 9 minutes remaining till the end of the game, Oumar Sako got the equalizer for Niger to make the scoreline 1-1 in the 81st minute after he made use of a corner kick swung into the box by fellow teammate Moussa Mouda.
Elsewhere, Angola recorded a 2-1 win over Sudan to go top of Group F with 6 points after two games played with four games remaining. The Black Stars of Ghana will end the September International break with just a point from two matches played.
