The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia will be filing his nomination for the Presidential Candidate in the Upcoming 2024 General Election on September 9.
According to the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party Justine Koduah Frimpong, he disclosed that Dr. Bawumia accompanied by His Running Mate for the Upcoming Elections Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and some Party members will be heading to the Headquarters of the Electoral Commission to pick up their nominations forms.
Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia who has been the Vice President of Ghana for Eight Years under the leadership of the current President His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo will in the 2024 Elections be contesting as President on the Ticket of the NPP after beating several other members to emerge victorious in the Presidential Primaries.
The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party also disclosed that the Flagbearer will be addressing Party members at the Party’s headquarters on Monday after the filing of nominations.
