Several Black Stars players have arrived in the country as they are set to begin training ahead of the 2025 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
The Head Coach of the team Otoo Addo named his squad on Thursday, August 29th at the Ghana Football Association Conference Centre in Accra. The team will begin training on Monday, September 2, 2024, in Accra.
8 players including Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew of Leicester City, Fredrick Asare of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Brandon Thomas Asante, Joojo Wollacot, Antoine Semenyo, Ibrahim Osman, Jonas Adjetey of FC Basel, and Tariq Lamptey have all arrived in the Black Stars Camp.
Other players will also join the team in Accra before departing to Kumasi on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2024. Ghana will take on Angola at the Baba Sports Stadium on Thursday, August 4 before flying to Morocco to take on Niger in the second 2025 AFCON Qualifiers game.
