He is seeking their support and trust to lead the nation, promising to deliver on his vision and policies. With his experience and leadership skills, Dr. Bawumia is confident in his ability to drive progress and development in Ghana, and he is asking citizens to give him the opportunity to serve as their president.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, emphasized the need for a leader with innovative ideas, integrity, and a commitment to best practices to drive Ghana’s development. Addressing supporters at the Ofie Mega Walk in Akropong on August 3, he outlined his vision for transforming the country.
Dr. Bawumia announced plans to introduce digitalization at the customs office, including a flat rate of duty and digital processes to prevent corruption and streamline operations. He also highlighted initiatives to digitize passport applications, allowing citizens to obtain passports without filling out forms, as their details would already be on file.
He emphasized Ghana’s need to embrace digitalization and learn from European examples to drive development. Dr. Bawumia criticized his opponent, Mahama, suggesting that he would not be accountable for his actions during his term. In contrast, Dr. Bawumia pledged to serve two terms, ensuring accountability and continuity.
He urged supporters to vote for him, promising to bring new policies and ideas to the presidency, and emphasizing the need for a leader with integrity to drive Ghana’s progress.
