Emmanuel Gyasi scored a 45th-minute goal as his side Empoli emerged victorious against AS Roma in the Italian Seri A on Sunday night.
The Ghanaian scored the first goal of the game to hand Empoli a 1-0 lead going into the first half of the game. He fired into the net after making good use of an assist from teammate Lorenzo Colombo.
Empoli doubled their lead from a penalty kick well-slotted home by Lorenzo Colombo in the 61st minute of the game. AS Roma pulled one back in the 80th minute after a well struck gaol by Eldor Shomurodov.
Emmanuel Gyasi has scored his first goal of the 2014/25 Season for Empoli after joining them last season from Spezia. The club after the victory against Roma now has 4 points from 2 games played so far in the 2024/25 season.
