Former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a passionate appeal to the Ghanaian electorate, urging them to entrust him and his party with their mandate in the upcoming general elections. With a strong emphasis on leadership, progress, and development, Mahama is calling on citizens to choose the NDC as the catalyst for Ghana’s transformation, promising a brighter future for all.
Former President John Mahama emphasized that a vote for him and the NDC is crucial for Ghana’s development, framing the election as a choice between progress and stagnation. He made this assertion while addressing trainee nurses, promising to prioritize job creation in the healthcare sector to ensure stable and fulfilling careers.
Mahama highlighted the challenges faced by trainee nurses, recalling his administration’s plan to replace allowances with student loans to create more employment opportunities. He criticized the current government’s failure to deliver on promises, leaving nurses owed arrears for almost 30 months.
Mahama made a commitment to complete abandoned hospital projects and finish the Agenda 111 hospitals, creating more space to absorb newly graduated nurses. He reiterated that the election is a choice between Ghana’s future and the NPP’s failures, urging citizens to choose progress and development.
